Lola's Meat Pies


  • 1kg Fine Beef Mince
  • 10 Sheets Puff pastry
  • 1 Finely chopped onion
  • Salt & Pepper to taste
  • Tomato Sauce(Fountain)
  • Corn Flour for thickening
  • Butter


  1. Lightly fry onion in butter, add mince & lightly fry stirring until browned.
  2. Add a little boiled water and stir. Gently simmer till cooked.
  3. Thicken with some cornfour.
  4. Salt and pepper to taste.
  5. Stir through some tomato sauce to taste.
  6. Scoop cooked mince into pie maker onto puff pastry and cook as directed.
